WELCOME TO THE ED
Emergency Medicine. There is no other specialty quite like it. It’s exciting, dynamic, and unpredictable at times. It’s where you will gain essential skills in managing undifferentiated patients, who may require anything from simple reassurance to life-saving interventions. Undoubtedly, many of you will be feeling apprehensive about starting your ED rotation, especially if you haven’t done it before. Remember, this is a team game. Ask if you’re not sure, be safe, and learn from others.
