Probe Movements

There are variations in describing probe movements.  For the purposes of clarity, the following are used:

Sliding the probe in the horizontal plane whilst keeping its rotational and vertical axis steady.
‘Fanning’ the probe from side to side to visualise structures to the side of the field of view
Rotating the probe around its axis
‘Fanning’ the probe up and down to view structures above/below the field of view
